Finally; North Eastern Pennsylvania has seen its first REAL snow storm of the season.
All schools and most businesses were closed on Wednesday and even some on Thursday.
In the early morning hours of February 10th, a giant snowstorm walloped our region at full force.
Dropping nearly 1 1/2 feet of white fluff by the evening. Students all around the North East region (and even some in Southern PA) rejoiced in the sweet victory of a closure.
My own school canceled the night prior, so i slept in until 11 the next day as a form of celebration.
Although the snow had stopped by the late evening, there were still closures on Thursday, February 11th. Again, my school was canceled and i was getting slightly stir crazy from being inside for 48 hours (mind you i was home sick on Tuesday). So i did what every mature and sophisticated American teenager does in a situation like this; SLEDDING.
Here are a bunch of pictures from the two days of Snowpocalypse....Enjoy.
