So, it wasn't the part i had in mind...but it is a Name and Lines!
I am officially cast as Robin Starveling, The Tailor.
He is a member of the acting group; The Rude Mechanicals!
It's been said that Robin is very comedic, but very frightened, he looks up to Bottom for guidance.
I am so happy for everyone who got a role, everyone seems to fit very snug in their given parts; Let's hope we don't have a fiasco like last year with switching parts!

Callbacks...Callbacks...Callbacks
Today was callbacks, and let me tell you, nothing has prepared me for what it can do to a weak stomach.
Everyone did so well, it's really hard right now to tell how casting is going to fair.
I am very nervous, so nervous i haven't been able to eat, which is not helping my stomach feel any better.
I am just hoping i get a role; praying that it be Helena or Hermia, but i am doubting myself [as usual] and completely rejecting every bit of positive reinforcement that is given [this is how i get]
Well that's really all i have to say, I'll find out tomorrow.
The only motivation for me to go to school, tomorrow, is finding out who gets the roles.

Tales from a Dusty Theatre Corridor
Again we find ourselves in the Dusty and almost prison like hallway leading to the most amazing room in our School; The Little Theatre ![say it with emphasis!]
No, we are not wasting away our study periods or home rooms, And also no we aren't in a class. No it was the hellish process we call "Merged Auditions".
The only reason it was merged, was because cowardly Dr. Eisley cancels school if a snowflake falls in Pittsburgh. The Man cancels school on Rumor, He is snow's bitch i tell yah.
Anyway back to auditions. Many of you know that i only started acting this past year, it was an accident that i showed up after school at the right time. I have to say, half the people i am friends with today, i would not have been friends with if i didn't make that mistake. It was the most wonderful oops i ever made.
This year it was different, I was not trying out for an ensemble role, but sucking it in and mustering some courage to try out for one of the most important characters in the play. Oh wait! let me tell you what we are doing first [derp Leila]. Our play this year is William Shakespeare's A Midsummer's Night Dream, and I was trying out for dear Hermia.
I fell in love immediately with the role of Hermia, although she is a hot tempered bitch of sorts, she is a very fun character to play.
Ok let me tell you of how the audition went. I'm walking through the halls going over lines with my friend Casey [who also tried out for Hermia], and we're having fun. We walk back into the Theatre hallway, walk into the guidence office and hang there. Scattered about the office are my other friends going through their lines or just chatting about random nonsense of the day. My friend Sarah, who's trying out for Helena [another main role] comes over and we start going over lines together. Well then all of a sudden our stage manager, Caevaun, comes out and tells us we are next; i was so relieved that i was auditioning with Sarah, she was the only one to that point that i had a successful read through with. We get in there and we read through the first parts of the "Bitch Fight Scene" [or so we call it]. We are doing great, it is so much fun acting with Sarah she's such a wonderful actress. The scene where Hermia grows so infuriated with Helena that she threatens to basically "claw her eyes out" was so funny, because she is increasingly getting angrier as Helena makes more short comments, what was so comical about this is my friend Sarah is about 3 inches shorter than me [the comedy in the room was high].
After our second read through [this time roles were reversed i was Helena, Sar was Hermia] we walked out..and talked with everyone who was nervously awaiting their turn to audition. I stayed after for about 2 1/2 hours because i had to wait for my "ride" chelsea to audition [she was the last].
Overall it was an amazing time, and i'll be glad with any call back i get.

Deciduous? Pshh..Evergreens<3
Dear Readers [if there are some],
My friend Tori and I recently did a project [if you can call it that] on "Why Evergreens pwn Deciduous trees"
Here we go.
One::
D: Deciduous trees are ugly most of the year! they either are a dingy green or naked! There is one time of the year they are decent, and that's fall! and what it's for a few weeks and then they are partially naked again.
EG: Evergreens are a beautiful green all year. they don't change and shit! they are consistent, and consistency is a needed factor in this world.
Two::
D: You never heard of a Deciduous tree song did you? I haven't, please enlighten me if you've heard of one.
EG: Two Words, Lisa Kelly.
Three::
D: Deciduous trees are hard for tree-huggers to hug. Why would you even bother hugging something that is naked anyway, i mean, that is awkward.
EG: Ever greens are much easier to hug, plus they offer shelter too...cause THEY ARE NOT NAKED! and it isn't awkward.

D: Do you put up Deciduous trees at christmas? well if you do...you're weird, cause you put naked trees in your house. What kind of example are you setting for your children?
EG: Evergreens symbolize the holiday season, the best time of year. They are the ones cut down and put in houses, because they are attractive.

Congratulations to the Ensembles of North Pocono High School.
On their Fantastic Show Tuesday Night.
I Myself was in The Ensembles, and feel so Privileged to be apart of Something so amazing.
The Orchestra started off the show playing spectacular classics such as "O Holy Night" and "It's the Most Wonderful time of the year" [Frank Sinatra would be proud]. Our piano player had a sprained wrist the night of the show, but she still played beautifully.
The Chorus then came on and gave quite a show. Singing songs like "Nutcracker Jingles" a fun song with the words of Jingle Bells set to four beautiful pieces of Peter Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker"! The Show choir, which I'm also in, then sang a song about our favorite winter treat "Hot Chocolate". The Choir and Show Choir are always a good act, It's so much fun to be a part of.
Then the Closers, The NPHS Band! Always a great treat to hear them, but to now be a part of them is amazing. The Band and Choir did a song together called "Its The Holiday Season", which was a medley of Let it Snow,Happy Holidays,and It's the Holiday Season. The Band did a Medley of songs called "Christmas Festival", Which i got to play sleighbells for!
Overall it was a fantastic night of music! If you get the chance in the spring! Come and see our even BIGGER ensemble perform an amazing [but a little long] Show!

So Tonight is a Very Important Night
Tonight at around 7PM, a group of us high school students who helped out with Barack Obama's Campaign are getting together At Northern Light Cafe. No it is not just a bunch of kids congregating and causing problems for some local cafe workers, we have a purpose.
This weekend, of the 13th and 14th of December, Supporters from all over the country are coming together to reflect on this monumental journey and plan a future that brings change to Washington as well as their community.
Also this weekend, they are having a house meeting. We like to call this little meeting we're having tonight our "house meeting". Like our field organizers, Joe and Matt, always said "Don't quit on Change." This meeting is to keep everything as well as EVERYONE alive in this new era we are moving into.
We Barack'd the vote, now it's time for us to Barack the future 4 years we have with him.

So March...
Ok so this March i have one Celtic Woman Show Planned!
In Wilkes Barre, PA.
I was excited to meet Orlagh, but she left the tour, i completely support her 100% still as well am i ecstatic about my CW show in March still.
I'm really hoping to Meet Lisa,Chloe, or Alex. Seeing Lynn and Mairead again would be exciting!
Oh well..im uberly excited for the show alone.

I'm 16! I can drive legally in a matter of a few days [although I've been illegally driving since i turned 14!]
So my birthday was pretty much a blast! although my party was about two weeks ago.
I wrote like crazy before..and have come up with a new little poem for you all...maybe it'll become a Christmas Classic?
So my big gifts? yes! I got a brand new camera, its a beaut! Fujifilm Finepix Z<3 I love it.
My Nannie got me a beautiful Coat
My Friend Missy got me a Scrapbook...which is so cute and thoughtful.
And My Friend Kaitlyn is taking me out tomorrow...For Dinner and She's buying Fabric to make a Bow For My Semi Dress.
Oh Yes!! And my Friend Ryan, was at a CW signing this past sunday..and got me a copy of their DVD signed by all of them..he's so wonderful!
LOL of course...in our school and many schools...the custom is on your birthday...your friends Decorate your locker...and my Sistaah Lil did mine perfectly...Bows and Wrapping Paper!! it was so cute! I had Several Birthday Notes taped to my locker throughout the day; which were entertaining to say the least. =D
Despite being attacked with party favors [Thankyou Bernadetta and Kait] and some minor outlaying things that i need not mention...my day was fabulous.

Schmeeps Party
So Schmeep [My Friend Kristie] had her party last night, and She turned the Sweetest of all Ages; 16.
and I figured i'd post a few pictures from the party!
The first one there is Me and Schmeep..although if you direct yourself to my Facebook; We are together Schmeeble and Schmeep. You're probably wondering why we call eachother these crazy names. Well last year in Latin Class, after a very long day, i started mumbling nonsense and Kristie shot back and said "Schmeeble? Schmeepin Schmeeper" and i died of laughter, and ever since then I've called her Schmeep and She's called me Schmeeble.
As well as it being a night for Schmeep, i had a great Time with my other two friends; Lillian and Emily[ who are affectionately called Rir and Emry]. I always have an insanely good time with These two! a lot happened at our table, and a lot of pictures were taken [but some i can't post here, they are all up on my facebook! Check them out]
